	- Speak what?

		- The message to be proclaimed is “all the words of this life.”

		- “Life” is the fruit of Jesus’ instruction, for it was life-giving.

			- The angel defined it as the words of “this” life.

			- What did Jesus teach His disciples?

			- The way to this life is not woks of obedience but faith in Jesus’ righteousness, so they preached Him (42).

	- To whom was the commission given: to the apostles (the sent out ones).

		- Not to angels.

		- God commits the ministry of the words of life to man.

			- The apostles and every preacher are sinners, who at times lacks zeal for God and easily desires man’s favor.

			- Imperfect as human ministers are, they are God’s chosen means in order that the glory goes to God and God alone.

		- That it is by man and not by angels brings special glory to God, for the weaker the instrument the more honor to Him.

	- The manner of their speaking.

		- “Go” implies promptly.

		- They were told to speak in the most public place in Jerusalem: “in the temple” courtyard.

		- They were to be bold conduct themselves with courage, not fearing the reproach and wrath of men.

			- The reason for such boldness is the fact that what God commands us to do, He also equips.

			- We may be encouraged in these labors by the fact that God brought the apostles out of prison.
